The prevention and the education on cyber bullying isn’t being taught in most schools. I also have personally dealt with cyber bullying not knowing how to deal with it. So I do have a bit of personal experience on my topic. Furthermore I have interest in pursuing a career with counseling with children not just on this topic but in general on a broad of topics. I just so happen to realize that not too many children are being taught about cyber bullying at home or in school.
What is cyber bullying?
The use of electronic communication to bully a person, typically by sending messages of an intimidating or threatening nature. Cyber bullying is a new form of bullying that occurs online, via social media websites, emails, forums, and chat rooms. Teenagers and adolescents are most likely to suffer from cyber bullying because of their vulnerability and easy access to the Internet and social media.
How can YOU stop it? Tell a parent, tell a teacher, report it to the authorities if out of hand.
